I. Shipping
Shipping worldwide is FREE.
Your order is printed and shipped by The Print Space, a premium UK-based art print company.
With fulfilment locations in London, Düsseldorf and New York, they use a mix of shipping carriers (Royal Mail, DHL, UPS, USPS, DHL Paket, Warenpost) to ensure your order arrives fast and safely.
Art prints are usually produced and dispatched within 2-4 days. Then, estimated delivery time is between 6-15 days depending on the destination.
Your artwork will be sustainably packaged and carefully protected.
In case your print is damaged, or the order is in some way defective, please get in contact with me within 48 hours with pictures of the damage, so we can discuss the resolution options with The Print Space as soon as possible. Once the damage is confirmed, The Print Space will replace the edition, free of cost. (Read the Return & Exchange Policy below.)
Customs
With production in the UK, USA & Germany, The Print Space guarantees there will be no extra customs charges on UK-EU-USA print-only orders.
For the rest of the world, custom duties may apply for print-only orders.
In the EU, customs duties may apply to bespoke hand made frames or bespoke mounting.
In the case import duties and taxes apply, it happens when the delivery reaches that destination. Please note that we have no control over these charges and we cannot predict their amount. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.
First, the art print is covered with recyclable tissue paper, eliminating the danger of any scratches or folds.
Your order is then placed into a robust 100% sustainably sourced recyclable cardboard envelope or tube, ensuring your print is delivered safely.
The team always manipulates the prints extremely carefully, using cotton gloves (which I also recommend you do when unpacking your order).
II. Return & exchange
We take great care in preparing each fine art print and want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Below is our returns and withdrawal policy, depending on different situations.
Right of withdrawal
In case you change your mind, we offer you the possibility to return your order within 14 days of receipt, without needing to provide a reason.
Send us an email at hello@charlottebories.com, stating your order number, the artwork title and your decision to withdraw.
Once you have received our reply email with the return address, you have 14 days to return the artwork.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in its original condition, original packaging and undamaged.
(When shipping a return/exchange item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.)Please keep in mind that return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. In case of approval, we will process a refund using the original payment method within 14 business days.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund after 14 business days, contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@charlottebories.com.
EXCHANGES
The fastest way to process an exchange is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
EXCEPTIONS
The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made or made-to-order artworks, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.
Damages and issues
The Print Space takes great care in printing and packaging each artwork, but if you notice that a damage occurred during shipping or a mistake was made during manufacturing, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the package at hello@charlottebories.com, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
We will need the following information:
A photo of your damaged artwork and the shipping container it arrived in (only if the package is also damaged).
Your order number, and artwork title.
A brief description of the reason for the return.
Whether you'd like a replacement or a refund.
If your return is confirmed, you do not need to mail back your product. We will process the refund or replacement based on your photos. (If the damage or quality issue is not apparent in the photo, you may be required to return the item at your expense in it’s original packaging before the return can be processed.) Refunds are typically issued within 48-72 hours of receiving the package.
Please note that we can’t be held responsible for any damage caused by improper handling after receipt of the artwork.
